Date & Location: 8-9 October 2026, near Leiden in the Netherlands and online (meeting venue tbc).
Meeting Background: While discussions on revision of the Gothenburg Protocol will be centre stage at TFRN-21 (especially on revision of the protocol Annex IX on ammonia mitigation), the meeting will cover all TFRN activities, including revision of the Ammonia Guidance Document, on National Nitrogen Budgets and on Nitrogen and Food (considering interactions with the wider bioeconomy). We hope to include a selection of national presentations sharing experience on nitrogen mitigation.
The TFRN-21 meeting is scheduled to take place immediately following the Heads of Delegation meeting in Leiden, so will include the opportunity for fast feedback on main messages emerging and how this affects the upcoming work of TFRN.
