  • Word processing: for all contributions please use this WORD .dot template provided by SPRINGER. 2 PDF documents with instructions are included in the ZIP archive on how to use this .dot file and further information on e.g. Reference formats etc.
  • Figures and images:
    • please provide all figures/images in the text, and in addition as a high resolution TIFF image (minimum 300 dpi for colour graphics, 600 for black&white)
    • name each TIFF image in the format Fig_chapter_#_figure_#, e.g. Fig_3_1.TIF;
    • if you generate figures with MS EXCEL or similar packages, please provide the original file as well, then we can edit a figure if needed
    • in case you are using figures which have been published before, or are copyrighted by others, please get in touch with us
  • References: please use the reference styles as described in the PDF instructions; if you are using ENDNOTE to manage your references, you could send an ENL file along with your text to facilitate formatting on our side
  • File upload: in case files are too large for email, please apply for an account on this website, we can then give you access to the Document Manager application which will allow for large files o be shared online
